Most Mercedes models manufactured before 2003, including C-Class W202 (up to 2000), E-Class W210 (up to 2002), S-Class W140 (up to 1998), CLK-Class W208 (up to 2003), SLK-Class R170, SL-Class R129 (up to 2002) are equipped with a 38-pin round diagnostic port instead of the standard 16-pin OBD2 port. The adapter is available for purchase here.3
• Does it work on Sprinter T1N or early NCV3 vans?: Yes, with the optional 14-pin Sprinter adapter (sold separately).
• Will it work on my 2022 Mercedes E-Class / S-Class?: Yes. MB V4.0 supports the CAN-FD protocol, which is required for diagnosing modern Mercedes platforms (W213, W223, W167, etc.).
