Foxwell NT650 — 14 Professional Special Functions Explained
1. OBDII/EOBD Engine Scan
Check engine warning light reasons and engine running live data. Inspect engine emission level. Identify VIN and EIN number.
2. ABS — Antilock Brake System Reset
The auto bleed procedure is used on BOSCH 5.3 equipped vehicles. This procedure uses a scan tool to cycle the system solenoid valves and run the pump to purge air from the secondary circuits.
3. SRS — Airbag Crash Data Reset
Your airbag crash data module will be restored back to its factory condition after accidents.
4. SAS — Steering Angle Sensor Reset
Helps clear the fault steering angle sensor memories and plays an important role in steering angle sensor calibration.
5. EPB — Electronic Parking Brake Reset
Important for maintenance of electronic braking system's safety and efficiency when replacing brake pads or motors.
6. DPF — Diesel Particulate Filter Reset
Specially works for Diesel Particulate Filter systems with DPF regeneration, DPF component replacement teach-in, and DPF teach-in after replacing the engine control unit.
7. Oil Service Light Reset
Allows you to reset maintenance mileage and data intervals for a new calculation of the Engine Oil Life system once oil has been changed.
8. TPMS — Tire Pressure Monitoring System Reset
Displays sensor IDs from the vehicle's ECU, inputs TPMS sensor replacement IDs, and activates TPMS sensors.
9. TBA/TPS — Throttle Body Alignment Reset
The vehicle's throttle position system sensor connects to the butterfly spindle and monitors throttle position within an internal combustion engine. Due to its location, the TPS can effectively observe where the throttle butterfly valve is positioned.
10. CVT — Continuously Variable Transmission Function
On CVT transmissions, the timing of release and application of elements (clutch packs and bands) is controlled by the Transmission Control Module (a microprocessor).
11. BRT — Battery Management Service
Allows the scan tool to evaluate battery charge state, monitor close-circuit current, register new battery replacement, and activate the rest state of the vehicle battery system.
12. Injector Coding
Diesel injector codes need programming ID and parameters to the ECU for accurate communication and injection control system.

How to Update NT650 Scanner?
- Go to the Foxwell official website. Choose your product. Under the page, click "Download", then download FoxScanner Installer.zip update client software.
- Register a Foxwell account and complete the related information at FoxScanner client software.
- Plug the SD memory card into a card reader and connect it to your Windows laptop or PC.
- Fill in the S/N number and password, then you can register your machine successfully.
- Update: Click "My updates", select the correct S/N of your product, and click the "Update" button.
- Wait several minutes. Update will be done. Enjoy new software!
