How to Update Xhorse Key Tool Max & Mini OBD Tool

Step-by-Step Update Guide

1. Download the Xhorse Upgrade Kit
   Install it on your PC and ensure you are connected to the internet.

2. Connect the Mini OBD Tool via USB
   Use the white USB cable included in the package.
   Do not power on the Key Tool Max at this stage.
   The Upgrade Kit will automatically detect the device and begin updating.

3. Update Firmware Sequentially
   Do not skip directly to the latest version.
   Follow each update step in order until you reach the newest version.

4. Pair Key Tool Max with Mini OBD Tool
   Turn on the Key Tool Max and connect via Bluetooth.
   A pop-up menu will appear confirming successful pairing and completion of the update.

How to Activate ID48 96-bit Cloning (Free Method)

To unlock the ID48 96-bit cloning function at no cost, simply generate 10 Xhorse remotes using the Key Tool Max.
After generating them, collect your bonus points, and the server will automatically activate the 96-bit feature within one hour.

Procedure

1. Turn on the Key Tool Max and log into your Xhorse account.

2. Generate 10 Xhorse remote keys and collect the associated points.

3. Return after one hour—the ID48 96bit cloning function will automatically be enabled.

3. An hour later after collect points, the 96 bit 48 clone function will be activated ,you can check it in your keytool max machine

ID48 96bit Activation Reminder

The ID48 96-bit cloning function will automatically activate one hour after you generate and collect points from 10 Xhorse remotes.
Please note that Xhorse offers four types of remotes, and each type provides a different number of bonus points when generated.

How to Check Points and Tokens on Xhorse Key Tool Max

To view your accumulated points and tokens:

1. Open the Xhorse App on your mobile device.

2. Log in and go to Account.

3. Select Combined Device to link your Xhorse tools (if not already combined).

4. After combining, you can check the points and tokens for each device, including the Key Tool Max.

This ensures all your Xhorse devices share points properly and updates are synchronized.
