OBDSTAR CAN Direct Kit for Toyota/Lexus Key Programming
The OBDSTAR CAN Direct Kit is designed to read ECU data and perform proximity key programming on Toyota and Lexus vehicles equipped with gateway modules, bypassing OBD diagnostic connector restrictions. It supports models from 2018-2021+ with 4A, 8A-A9, 8A-AA, and 8A-A8 smart key systems, offering free pincode programming and all keys lost (AKL) functionality. Compatible with OBDSTAR X300 DP, X300 DP PLUS, and X300 PRO4.
CAN DIRECT KIT is used to read the ECU data of gateway vehicles. Split design is easy to connect with more ECU cables, similar to COROLLA 4A.

Toyota-27 vs Corolla 4A
The Toyota-27 cable, an upgraded version of the Corolla 4A, supports 4A, 8A-A9, 8A-AA, and 8A-A8 proximity key programming, while Corolla 4A supports only 4A. Toyota-27 includes an additional power cable for enhanced compatibility.
Connecting Method
Example: For a 2021 Toyota Corolla, connect the CAN Direct Kit using the Toyota-27 or Toyota-24 cable to the vehicle’s smart key ECU, bypassing the gateway module for data reading and key programming.
