【Cylinder Cut-off Services】The cylinder cut-off test can diagnose engine failure problems. The HD500 heavy duty truck scan tool sends a command to the ECU to cut off the injector of a cylinder to check if the injector of that cylinder is not working properly. If the engine speed drops more, the better the cylinder works; if the speed drop is not obvious or does not drop then the cylinder may be faulty; touch the high-pressure pipe between the common rail tube to the injector with your hand, the stronger the pulsation, the better the injection effect. DPF Regeneration & Service Reset
DPF Regeneration (for Cummins, Detroit, Caterpillar, Paccar, Hino & More Pickup Semi Trucks )
DPF Regeneration is used to clear PM (Particulate Matter) from the DPF filter through continuous combustion oxidation mode (such us high temperature heating conbustion, fuel additive or catalyst reduce PM ignition conbustion) to stabilize the filter perfornance. An unmaintained DPF runs your vehicles unnecessarily hard and less efficient. With regular DPF maintenance, you can save lots of dollars and time by getting your DPF cleaned, restore your DPF to nearly new! Increased Fuel Economy up to 5%. Avoid costly replacement of the filters. Lower Overall Maintenance Costs.
DPF regeneration may be performed in the following cases:
(a) The exhaust back pressure sensor is replaced.
(b) The PM trap is removed or replaced.
(c) The fuel additive nozzle is removed or replaced.
(d) The cataytic oxidizer is removed or replaced.
(e) The DPF regeneration MIL is on and maintenance is performed.
(f) The DPF regeneration control module is replaced.
Cylinder Cut-off Services
When the engine is idling, stop any cylinder of the engine, and determine the scope of the problem by observing the engine's working condition. Close a cylinder injector when the injection volume increases the greater the cylinder working condition is better, if the injection volume is unchanged or compared with other cylinders increased very little, the cylinder may be faulty, at this time you should check the cylinder's air tightness and whether the injector is working poorly. Through this method, when the engine is not working properly, you can quickly eliminate non-faulty parts without disassembling the engine, and find out the cylinders that are not working, especially when the vehicle is in the field without maintenance and inspection equipment or routine maintenance, the injector cutoff test allows you to quickly and effectively eliminate the faults, and saves time and maintenance c.osts for you.
Speed Limit Setting:
The actual conditions of roads and traffic in different regions are different, so the traffic authorities will also make corresponding adjustments to the statutory speed limits in different regions, and set the maximum travelling speeds for safe and effective operation, so as to ensure the safety and efficiency of road traffic. For example, the motor vehicle laws of the states of the United States provide for speed limits on various categories of streets and highways: the legal speed limit in residential areas is 25 mph (40 km/h); in commercial areas it is 30 mph (50 km/h); and on national highways, expressways, the speed limit is 55 mph (90 km/h). The HD500 heavy duty scanner truck diesel checks and sets the engine speed and modifies the engine speed limit when the vehicle is stationary, ensuring that your vehicle does not exceed the legal speed limit.
