VCI for iCarsoft CR MAX BT: 

The iCarsoft CR MAX BT VCI is a high-performance, wireless Vehicle Communication Interface designed exclusively for the CR MAX BT diagnostic tablet. This compact dongle serves as the primary bridge between the vehicle’s Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and the diagnostic software, enabling stable, high-speed data transmission without the restriction of a physical cable.

Key Features & Performance

• Wireless Freedom: Utilizing advanced Bluetooth technology, the VCI allows technicians to perform diagnostics, active tests, and service resets from up to 10 meters (33 feet) away from the vehicle.

• CAN-FD Protocol Support: Unlike standard adapters, this VCI is hardware-ready for the CAN-FD (Flexible Data-rate) protocol, essential for full communication with modern vehicles, particularly 2020+ GM and Ford models.

   

• Plug-and-Play Integration: The device is pre-paired to the CR MAX BT tablet for immediate "out-of-the-box" connectivity. It features an intelligent auto-handshake protocol that establishes a secure link within seconds of being plugged into the OBDII port.

• Bi-Directional Capability: Fully supports bi-directional control, allowing the user to send commands to the VCI to activate components like fuel pumps, ABS valves, and windows for real-time troubleshooting.

  LED Status Indicators

  The VCI includes a tri-color LED system to provide instant visual feedback:

  1. Solid Red: Power indicator. Confirms the VCI is receiving 12V power from the vehicle's DLC.

  2. Solid Blue: Bluetooth connection. Confirms a successful wireless link with the tablet.

  3. Flashing Green: Data transmission. Indicates active communication between the VCI and the vehicle’s ECUs.
