The 12+8 cable is bypass for Chrysler's Security Gateway Module (SGM). This replacement for Chrysler 12+8 Adapter can be used with Foxwell scan tool ,such as for FOXWELL NT604/NT624 /NT706/ NT716 /NT726/ NT809 /NT809BT /NT809TS/NT909/NT1009/ GT75 /GT75TS
